🌲Great Christmas Trees
🌲Heat Tolerant
🌲Vigorous and Adaptable

Native to the mountains of northwest Turkey, these trees have an interesting history. One of the mountain ranges they are from is now called “Uludağ" (Great Mountain) but was once called by the ancient Greeks Mount Olympus - the home of Zeus.

It is rumored that these trees were used to build the famous Trojan Horse, hence “equi-trojani” as the subspecies name. Turkish Firs are also known as Bithnyian Fir and Black Sea Fir.

🌲Planting is easy.

Plant in moist, well-draining soil with organic tree fertilizer in a sunny location. These plants thrive in acidic soils with plenty of phosphorus. Add mulch to keep the roots cool.

Full sun. Zones 5-8. 50-80'T x 10-15'W.

⛰️❤️These BnB plants are specialty grown in the WNC mountains. BnB means Ball and Burlap, which means the plants have strong and substantial roots from growing in the earth. Sale of each plant helps our local farmers!

Plant the story. Grow the legend.

From Mount Olympus to your mountain view—this isn’t just a tree, it’s a tale that grows taller every year.
