Perennial Chrysanthemum - Ryan's Pink
Chrysanthemum x moriflorum 'Ryan's Pink' syn. Dendranthemum
✨Our sizeable plants are covered in flower buds, and will soon be putting on their extravagant, magical show.✨
Effortless beauty! These incredible fall bloomers provide charming daisy-like flowers featuring pink petals with golden centers. They attract butterflies and other pollinators when most things have finished for the season.
🦋'Ryan's Pink' Chrysanthemums are excellent for providing critical nectar for butterflies, and are incredibly low maintenance. They are also great cut flowers.
For some reason these classic, fantastic plants are rather hard to find, but fortunately our Farm keeps us well-supplied! They can live and gently spread for many years.
🌸Use these in pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and anywhere you'd like a last-minute splash of color in the fall. Very dramatic when massed!
❤️RCN Staff Favorite - many of us have these in our own gardens!
🦌Deer resistant: Deer and rabbits are not interested in these fabulous flowers.
🌞Sunlight: these plants are best in full sun (6-8 hours of direct sunlight).
12-18"T x 24"W.
Zones 5-9, cold hardy down to -20F.
💚Plant Nerd: Chrysanthemum x morifolium is a very complex hybrid between a bunch of Chinese species - C. argyrophyllum, C. dichrum, C. indicum, C. nankingense and C. zawadzkii. 'Ryan's Pink' Chrysanthemum originates from Atlanta garden designer, Ryan Gainey.
