These WNC native deciduous shrubs have a loose, open habit and are gorgeous when massed. For those with limited space, these also make superb specimens. Durable and low maintenance, they are ideal for many garden locations.

Once established, these plants can handle dry soil, wet soil, drought, deer, and rabbits. Use them in native gardens, pollinator gardens, rain gardens, edible gardens, butterfly gardens, woodland gardens, and more! 

🐦 They provide an essential food source that attracts birds and other wildlife, supporting a vibrant and healthy ecosystem in your garden.
🫙Edible berries can be used to make jellies, jams, and wines.
