Helleborus WEDDING PARTY® 'Shotgun Wedding'
Helleborus x

An exquisite double-flowering variety!

Meet 'Shotgun Wedding' Helleborus, beautiful, hard-to-find, flowering evergreen plants with luminous 3" double white flowers covered in generous burgundy-purple speckles - for up to 6 weeks of blooms during the gray months of later winter! Plant them in pretty containers near your entry way or patios, fill your shady beds, or even give as gifts (these would be perfect for newlyweds)! From the WEDDING PARTY® series, Helleborus 'Shotgun Wedding' is a stunning hybrid bred by Hans Hansen of Walters Gardens.

These European and Western Asian natives are remarkably forgiving plants. They thrive in partial shade with well-draining soil, and are drought tolerant once established. After flowering, a generous application of organic compost or manure supports their vitality.

Ideal for Cottage Gardens, Shade Gardens, Small Space Gardens, Winter Gardens, and more!

🏆Award winning! Helleborus were selected as the 2005 Perennial Plant of the Year.

💚Plant Nerd: Alongside planting bulbs, investing in Hellebore plants are great ways to boost morale during the gloomy drab days of winter. Your future self will thank you! With their very early bloom times, these plants can be incredibly helpful to pollinators that also wake up early, such as honeybees on warm winter days.
